PULLMAN, Wash. -- The Ball State men's golf team went through its final tuneup for the NCAA Regional with a practice round Wednesday at Palouse Ridge Golf Club.
The Cardinals seemed to feel comfortable on a track many of them described as a mixture between Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville and the Pete Dye Course in French Lick, both courses with which they are familiar.
Palouse Ridge, on the Washington State campus, plays to a par-72, 7,308-yard layout.
Ball State is one of 14 teams competing at the Pullman Regional. The top five will advance to the NCAA Championships in Atlanta.
Joe Gasser will tee off first for the Cardinals in Thursday's opening round at 9:15 a.m. PT (12:15 p.m. ET). Ball State will be going off the 10th tee with in groups with Memphis and Pacific.
