Ball State's men's golf team suffered a 3-2 loss in a match play dual match with Bowling Green in Orlando, Fla., Thursday afternoon.

Drew Preston (BG) def. Eric Steger (BSU) 3 and 2

Wes Gates (BG) def. Tyler Merkel (BSU) 5 and 4

TJ Carpenter (BSU) halved Parker Hewit (BG)

Tony Lazzara (BSU) halved Chris Melvin (BG)

Joe Gasser (BSU) def. Spencer Berke 8 and 6

The event was played at the Rio Pinar Golf Course in Orlando, Fla. 

Ball State will continue action at the Rio Pinar Golf Course Sunday through Tuesday.
