Scouting Ball State: The Cardinals closed out Mid-American Conference East Divisional play Saturday with a 70-58 loss to Ohio University. Senior forward Suzanne Grossnickle led the team in scoring with 15 points at Ohio University Saturday. Grossnickle led the Cardinals defensively as well with six rebounds. She went 7-of-9 from the field which included a three-pointer. Grossnickle's rebounding performance helped the Cardinals out-rebound the Bobcats 30-to-25 including 14 offensive boards while Ohio only had four. Ball State enters Thursday's contest with an overall record of 8-16 and a 3-8 league mark.
Scouting Northern Illinois : The Huskies enter Thursday's contest with an overall record of 11-12 and a MAC mark of 5-6. Northern Illinois is currently on a two-game win streak after defeating Ohio (50-46) and Miami (70-58). Leading the way for the Huskies this season in scoring is Claire Jakubicek with 10.8 points per game. Defensively Kim Davis owns the glass for Northern Illinois with 6.0 rebounds per contest.
