MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State University women's basketball team is set to host Central Michigan Sunday for its "Think Pink" breast cancer awareness game February 19.
"Women's college basketball provides a platform to create further awareness of a challenging disease," said Ball State women's basketball coach Kelly Packard. "Acknowledging survivors of this challenge is a highlight of this initiative."
The game against Central Michigan begins at 1 p.m. in Worthen Arena and will bring awareness and education in regards to breast cancer and breast cancer survivors.
The Cardinals will be wearing Play4Kay warm-up shirts, giving pledge cards away for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund and pink tote bags. Ball State will also raffle off a jersey and an autographed ball at the game.
