   The latest NCAA All-American in program history for her effort in the 100m hurdles at the 2007 NCAA Outdoor Championships, Amber Williams enters her second season as an assistant coach for the Ball State track & field program in 2013-14.

   During the 2011-12 season, Williams served as a volunteer coach for the Ball State track & field program.

   Williams concluded her collegiate career after the 2008-09 season as the school record holder in both the indoor 60m hurdles (8.19) and the outdoor 100m hurdles (13.18). She captured eight Mid-American Conference individual event titles over her illustrious career, including four indoor titles and four outdoor titles.

   As a senior, Williams advanced to the 2009 NCAA Indoor Championships in the 60m hurdles, placing 12th overall with a time of 8.45. She also captured Mid-American Conference indoor titles in the 60m dash (7.44), 60m hurdles (8.24) and 200m dash (24.27) to earn Most Valuable Performer honors at the MAC Championships.

   During the 2009 outdoor campaign, Williams was a two-event MAC champion and earned All-MAC First Team honors by posted NCAA Regional Qualifying marks in both the 100m hurdles and the 100m dash.

   Williams took the 2007-08 season off to focus on her training, as she earned a fourth-place finish in the 60m hurdles at the USA Track & Field Indoor Championships.

   As a junior in 2006-07, she was named the Most Valuable Performer of the MAC Indoor Championships after posting a meet and program record time of 8.19 to win the 60m hurdles. She also placed second in the 60m dash (7.42) and third in the 200m dash (24.31) at the meet.

   During the outdoor campaign, she went on to collect NCAA All-America honors for her BSU record-setting effort in the 100m hurdles. She also claimed Most Valuable Performer and First Team All-MAC accolades at the league championships by winning titles in the 100m dash (11.54) and 100m hurdles (13.32).

   As a sophomore in 2005-06, Williams was an All-MAC second team selection in both the indoor and outdoor campaign. She also competed in the NCAA Mideast Regionals during the outdoor season, placing 25th in the 100m hurdles prelims with a time of 14.10. As a freshman in 2004-05, Williams was an NCAA Regional Qualifier in the 400m hurdles.
