MUNCIE, Ind. - The 2009 Mid-American Conference Softball Champion Ball State will host a winter softball clinic January 16 in the Field Sports Building on the school's campus.  Head coach Craig Nicholson and assistant coach Stephanie DeFeo will address three sessions, two hours each, for pitching/catching, hitting and defense.  Please bring your own gear, but remember to wear gym shoes as this is an indoor facility.  Registration is due 14 days prior to camp date (January 2).  Please click on the PDF above for the complete camp brochure.  If you have any questions or need more information, contact assistant coach Stephanie DeFeo by phone at (765) 285-3703 or by email at stdefeo@bsu.edu.

From Indianapolis:

1. Get on I-69 North, which originates on the Northeast side of I-465.
2. Take I-69 North to Exit 41 (Muncie/Frankton) at Highway 332.
3. Turn right onto Highway 332.
4. Follow 332 East (turns into McGalliard Rd.) to 4^th light.
5. Turn right on Tillotson.
6. At Bethel Ave. (1^st light) turn left.
7. Follow down Bethel and take the second left into the parking lot and follow to the northwest corner entrance. The Field Sports Building is on the right next to the arena.

From Fort Wayne:

1. Take I-69 South to Exit 41 (Muncie/Frankton) at Highway 332.
2. Turn left onto Highway 332.
3. Follow 332 East (turns into McGalliard Rd.) to 4^th light.
4. Turn right on Tillotson.
5. At Bethel Ave. (1^st light) turn left.
6. Follow down Bethel and take the second left into the parking lot and follow to the northwest corner entrance. The Field Sports Building is on the right next to the arena.

From Dayton:

1. Take I-70 West to Richmond, Indiana, where you will get on Highway 35 North.
2. Take Highway 35 North to Muncie where it will exit to your right and merge with Highways 67 and 3 into a bypass around the east side of Muncie. (Ignore the sign directing you to go straight for Ball State.) 
3. Follow the bypass until you get to the McGalliard Road exit.
4. Turn left onto McGalliard Road.
5. Follow McGalliard Road for approximately 4 miles until you come to Tillotson Avenue.
6. Turn left on Tillotson. (The football stadium is on the left.) 
7. At Bethel Ave. (1^st light) turn left.
8. Follow down Bethel and take the second left into the parking lot and follow to the northwest corner entrance. The Field Sports Building is on the right next to the arena.

From Springfield:

1. Take IL-97 South until it becomes I-72E.
2. Merge onto I-57 North via Exit 182B toward Chicago/ I-74 E/ Indianapolis.
3. Merge onto I-74 East via Exit 237A toward Indianapolis (Crossing into Indiana).
4. Take the IN-32 exit, Exit 39, toward Lebanon.
5. Turn Left onto IN-32.
6. Merge onto I-65 S/ US-52 E.
7. Keep Right to take US-52 E via Exit 129 toward I-465 E.
8. Merge onto I-69 N via Exit 37B toward Ft. Wayne.
9. Take I-69 North to Exit 41 (Muncie/Frankton) at Highway 332.
10. Turn right onto Highway 332.
11. Follow 332 East (turns into McGalliard Rd.) to 4^th light.
12. Turn right on Tillotson. (The football stadium is on the left.) 
13. At Bethel Ave. (1^st light) turn left.
14. Follow down Bethel and take the second left into the parking lot and follow to the northwest corner entrance. The Field Sports Building is on the right next to the arena.
