Football: Day Three in Mobile

Ball State's football team continued preparations for Sunday's GoDaddy Bowl in Mobile, Ala., with a visit to a juvenile detention center, practice and a trip for the seniors to the University of South Alabama Women's and Children's Hospital.

The day capped off with an evening bowling competition against Sunday's opponent, the Arkansas State Red Wolves.

Under the direction of third-year head coach Pete Lembo, the Cardinals have tallied a 10-2 overall record in 2013 and will culminate the season at the GoDaddy Bowl Sunday.  The game is slated for a 9 p.m. (ET) kickoff and will air live on ESPN.

Ball State travelled via charter jet to the bowl site and continued preparations for the game with the first of five practices in Alabama.  The Cardinals practiced Wednesday and Thursday at UMS-Wright Prep School in Mobile.  The Cardinals will practice at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, the site of the bowl game, Saturday.

Ball State will participate in the the Mayor's Luncheon Friday afternoon where Brett Favre is the keynote speaker and then head to a night practice at UMS-Wright Prep School.
