A pair of Ball State men’s basketball signees will play in front of a national television audience Thursday at 9:30 p.m. on ESPN.
Guard Jeremie Tyler and forward Rashaun Richardson of Arsenal Tech High School in Indianapolis will square off with Huntington (W. Va.) Prep as part of the GEICO ESPN High School Basketball Showcase.
Both players signed with Ball State in November and will join the Cardinals next season.
Tyler averages 14.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game for a Titans team that also features Kentucky signee Trey Liles. Richardson averages 4.6 points and 4.0 boards.
Arsenal Tech enters the game ranked No. 17 in the country in the USA Today Super 25, while Huntington Prep checks in at No. 21.
Tech is 4-1 on the season, having already defeated Huntington Prep less than two weeks ago at the Marshall County Hoopfest in Kentucky. That win vaulted the Titans into the national rankings.
