Men's Swimming and Diving Hosts Red-White Meet

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State men’s swimming and diving team will host its annual Red-White scrimmage Friday, Oct. 25 at 6 p.m. at the Lewellen Aquatic Center.

The 2013-14 team boasts 13 returners and seven newcomers. Notable returners include 2013 MAC silver medalists in the 200 breast, Joseph Morris. Morris set two individual school records at the league meet in the 100 and 200 breast.

Two-time Academic All-MAC team member Drew Tharp was a member of the school-record-setting 400 medley relay that turned in a 3:19.69 at the 2013 MAC Championship. Morris, Michael Oaks and Michael Weber were also on that relay.

The Cardinals will open up the 2013-14 season at Evansville on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. Ball State will have its first home meet when it hosts the Doug Coers Invitational Nov. 22-23. Other home meets for BSU are: Saturday, Jan. 18 vs. Eastern Illinois, Saturday, Feb. 1 vs. Buffalo and Saturday, Feb. 8 vs. Miami.
