Ball State football's defensive coordinator & linebacker's coach Jay Bateman discusses last Saturday's Western Michigan win and the Akron game with Joel Godett.

The Cardinals are coming off a 38-17 victory over Western Michigan that improved the team's record to 7-1 overall and 4-0 in Mid-American Conference play.  The defense was led by a season high 10 tackles from captain Nate Ollie and continued strong play of safety Dae'Shaun Hurley.

The Cardinals will play at Akron in a 12 p.m. game broadcast on the Ball State Radio Network and available on ESPN3 and local television affiliates.
