MUNCIE, Ind. - - In conjunction with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Ball State women's volleyball team will host its annual "Dig Pink" match Saturday versus Miami at 7 p.m. inside Worthen Arena.
The Cardinals, who will be wearing pink warm-up shirts and pink accents for both of this weekend's matches, have once again teamed up with the Side-Out Foundation to raise money in the fight against breast cancer.
This season, the women's volleyball program will match gifts donated to the Side-Out Foundation up to the team's goal of $1,000.
In addition, the Ball State Athletics will recognize two cancer survivors at Saturday's match versus Miami.
Ball State volleyball fans can show their support in the battle against cancer by donating at the following link, with the Ball State women's volleyball program matching donations up to $1,000.
