In singles action, Courtney Earnest advanced to Sunday's round after capturing a 6-2, 6-2, win over Chattanooga's Kaylene Chadwell.  Earnest is set to face Kentucky's Nadia Ravita at 9:30 a.m.  Also remaining in the winner bracket, Courtney Wild took down fellow Mid-American Conference rival Miami's Andreea Badileanu, 6-4, 6-4.  Wild will face Louisville's Julia Fellerhoff also at 9:30 a.m.

Ashlyn Rang, Bethany Moore and Kristel Sanders will compete in the consolation bracket tomorrow after losing their first round matches.

Sanders teammed up with Moore to win their first round doubles competition after beating Butler's twosome of Caroline Hedrick and Kailey Eaton, by a score of 8-2.  Sanders and Moore were then eliminated after losing their second round match.  Earnest and Toni Ormond also advanced to the second round of doubles after taking down Miami's Alix Thurman and Christine Guerrazzi, 8-7 (4) Saturday.  The doubles tandem did not move on to the next round after dropping their second doubles match.

The Ball State women's tennis team will continue to play at the USTA/ITA Regional Championship Sunday beginning at 9:30 a.m., in Memphis, Tenn.
