Ball State true freshman football quarterback Jack Milas spent the day with Joel Godett to give fans a look into a day in the life of a football student-athlete.

Milas earned three letters in football for Coach Matt Mishler at Rolling Meadows H.S. in Arlington Heights, Ill.  He helped the team to a 7-3 overall record as a senior and a first-place finish and 4-1 mark in the Mid-Suburban League.  The Mid-Suburban League Offensive Player of the Year as a senior, Milas passed for 2,700 yards with 32 touchdowns in his final campaign.  He passed for 5,961 yards with 71 touchdowns in career and completed 67 percent of his passes in his varsity career.

Ball State, under the direction of third-year head football coach Pete Lembo, opens the season Thurs., Aug. 29, with a 7 p.m. home game vs. Illinois State in Scheumann Stadium.
