The Ball State football team went through the second of four “two-a-day” dates on the fall camp calendar Friday at Scheumann Stadium.
The Cardinals were on the turf Friday at 8 a.m. and then returned for a 7:15 p.m. session as fall camp reached its midway point. They will be off Saturday for the annual Fan Jam event.

Ball State is continuing to work toward its season opener, set for Thurs., Aug. 29. against Illinois State at Scheumann Stadium.
Fan Jam, free of charge and presented by MutualBank, will be held Saturday from 5-7 p.m. at Scheumann Stadium. Student-athletes and coaches from the Ball State football, women's volleyball and soccer teams will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs.
All Ball State football practices are open to the media and public throughout fall camp. The remaining practice schedule is as follows:
