MAC Football Media Day in 140 Characters
With just 36 days remaining until Ball State football opens 2013 against Illinois State, the Cardinals got the news they were picked third in the MAC West at the annual MAC Media Day. Wenning said he was the only college QB out in Cali when working with Todd Durkin (also there were Brees/Palmer/A. Smith etc).
Wenning on NFL QB's working out with Todd Durkin: "They'd help me...I really wouldn't say much to them about helping them."
Wenning said he learned about how much time and dedication the NFL QB's put into their craft...."How much time they put into their profession. It's different when you play in college and you have homework. It's more than just football."
Wenning on improving for the NFL: "At Ball State we don't do much under center so this offseason I worked on getting out under center."

Nate Ollie on voluntary workouts:"I've been seeing the offense put in extra work after the workouts and they're [the workouts] really successful.
Toledo HC Matt Campbell on BSU: "I truly believe they're one of the most well coached teams in our conference."
Campbell: "A lot goes to them making plays in critical situations. I can remember a 4th and one where we went for it...and they made the play."
Campbell on if Keith Wenning can play in the NFL: "He certainly has the arm strength to do it and his decision making...has aided his ability...I would say yes."

Lynch believes if he played as a bigger school he'd be taken more seriously for Heisman. "The MAC doesn't get the respect it needs."
Western Michigan Coach PJ Fleck: "Ball State has one of the classiest guys in college football. I absolutely love Pete Lembo...He is the easiest guy to talk to."
Western Michigan LB Johnnie Simon on loss to BSU last year: "It was a hard game. I give credit to [Jahwan Edwards]. That last touchdown he scored, that was a nice little run."
Western Michigan QB Tyler Van Tubbergen on BSU loss last year: "That game was crazy...that [pass] got intercepted and we got lucky and came up with the fumble [right before the end of regulation]."
