Ball State athletics will broadcast live from the Mid-American Conference Football Media Day Tuesday from 11 a.m. to noon. The broadcast will air on www.ballstatesports.com and on 102.9 FM and 1340 AM in Muncie, Ind.
The broadcast will include interviews with Ball State head coach Pete Lembo and the Cardinals’ student-athlete representatives at MAC Media Day – Nathan Ollie and Keith Wenning. Ball State’s Joel Godett will also conduct interviews with MAC Commissioner Jon Steinbrecher and other dignitaries from the event.
In addition, the MAC and ESPN have announced the 2013 MAC Football Media Day will be shown LIVE nationally on ESPN3. The event will highlight the league’s annual kickoff event Tuesday at 9 a.m. at Ford Field in Detroit, Mich. ESPN3 hosts Michael Reghi and former Ball State assistant coach Doug Graber will visit with MAC head coaches and student-athletes throughout MAC Football Media Day.
Joining Steinbrecher will be all 13 head coaches from our member institutions and two student-athletes from each university. Steinbrecher will begin Football Media Day and address the media at 8:30 a.m. All head coaches and student-athletes will be available to the media throughout the morning.
In addition, the MAC will also have Michael Kelly, chief operating officer of the Bowl Championship Series and College Football Playoff. Bill Carollo, coordinator of football officials for the Midwest Football Officials Alliance (MAC, Big Ten, Missouri Valley Conferences) will also serve as a participant in MAC Football Media Day.
