MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State women’s golf team handed out its postseason awards recently at its end-of-the-year banquet.
The team celebrated a season that included four tournament victories and eight top-5 results. The Cardinals also seized six Mid-American Conference Golfer-of-the-Week awards throughout the year, matching their total from the previous two seasons combined.

Golfer of the Year: Jenna Hague
Elizabeth A. Dunn Most Inspirational: Autumn Duke
Most Improved Golfer: Zoe Camus
Freshman of the Year: Karley Dobis
Coaches Award: Autumn Duke
Jenna Hague, Golfer of the Year
Hague led Ball State with seven top-20 finishes, six top 10s and a pair of wins. She also led the team is scoring average at 77.30. She was named the Mid-American Conference Golfer of the Week three times and was the lowest Cardinal at the MAC Championships, finishing tied for fourth.
Autumn Duke, Elizabeth A. Dunn Most Inspirational and Coaches Award
Duke was an inspiring figure this season, so much so that she received the Kim Moore Spirit Award from the Women’s Golf Coaches Association. The senior captain overcame the tragic death of her father to play less than a week later and honored him with the best finish of her career, tying for fifth at the Cardinal Classic. Duke ended the season with five top-20 results.
Zoe Camus, Most Improved Golfer
Camus played in all 12 events during the season, including finishing in the top 10 three times and among the top 25 seven times. She managed a 78.77 stroke average, the third-best on the team.
Karley Dobis, Freshman of the Year
Dobis competed in eight events in her first year as a Cardinal. She finished in the top 30 twice -- a tie for 25th at The 2012 Preview and a tie for 29th at the Angola Shootout.
