With the summer in full swing, catch up with the Ball State offensive players as they go through one of their many voluntary summer workouts. Organized by the players themselvess, including captains Keith Wenning and Connor Ryan, the Cardinals come together in the evening to run through plays and build chemistry on a unit returning almost every skill position player, but searching to fill several voids on the offensive line.
Back in 2013 are Ball State's top two rushers and nine of its 11 top receivers. The Cardinals also return starting quarterback Keith Wenning, an All-MAC performer a season ago and a starter since his freshman year.
Ball State finished 9-4 overall in 2012 and made its third bowl appearance in six seasons. The Cardinals open the 2013 season Aug. 29, with a home game vs. Illinois State.
