Menís Basketball Camp Dates Set for June 25-27

Head coach James Whitford and the Ball State men's basketball program will hold their Summer Day Camp from June 25-27. The camp caters to boys entering grades 1 through 8 with a wide variety of skill levels.

The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day with the option of early arrival (8:30 a.m.) or late pickup (5 p.m.). The Ball State Basketball camp staff will assess the skill level, size and age of each camper to appropriately place them in a position which will maximize their camp experience.

Cost of the full day camp is $150 for each camper. To send two children in the same family, the price will be $250 (three children for $325). Campers are encouraged to bring a sack lunch. Pizza will be available for purchase by the slice.

Each camper will receive a Ball State Basketball t-shirt, a certificate of participation and skill development ideas. Daily instructional stations and games will be conducted.

Coach Whitford is entering his first season as the Ball State men's basketball coach in 2013-14 after spending the past four years on the staff at Arizona, including the last two as associate head coach. He has been a part of success at each of his coaching stops, having also served as an assistant at Xavier and Miami University.
