Women's Golf Visits Bloomington for Indiana Invite

MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State women's golf team is in Bloomington, Ind., to compete in this weekend's Indiana Invitational.

The 54-hole tournament gets underway with two rounds Saturday at the Indiana University Golf Course, beginning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. The final 18 holes will be played Sunday.

In addition to Ball State and two squads from the Indiana team, the tournament's 15-team field includes Akron, Bradley, Dayton, Drake, Eastern Michigan, Evansville, Illinois State, IUPUI, Kansas, Southern Illinois, Toledo and Valparaiso.

Ball State will use the lineup of Jenna Hague, Zoe Camus, Meghan Perry, Sarah Westaway and Autumn Duke. Karley Dobis will compete as an individual.

Hague, the current Mid-American Conference Co-Golfer of the Week, is coming off a tournament victory at last weekend's Eastern Kentucky Colonel Classic. She helped the Cardinals to a second-place finish as a team.

Ball State finished second behind the Hoosiers at a rain-shortened Indiana Invitational last season. Hague tied for first in what turned out to be just an 18-hole tournament before falling in a playoff for medalist honors.
