Ball State spent its spring practice No. 8 preparing for the April 20 Spring Game plus entertained during its Faculty Appreciation Day.
Faculty members were welcomed into the Fisher Football Training Complex Saturday morning and listened to third-year head coach Pete Lembo's presentation on the football program.
“We appreciate several faculty members and their families taking the time to get an intimate look at our program this morning," Lembo says. "We are all in it together when it comes to the college experience and education of our student-athletes. The support for our football program is growing on campus and in the community. We want to keep providing opportunities for all of our constituents to have access to the program.”
The group toured the strength and conditioning facilities before watching practice from the Kozel Communications Center at Scheumann Stadium.
Faculty members were welcomed to the press box for refreshments as practiced continued and then family members were welcomed to the field for autographs and introductions with Ball State's football student-athletes.
In addition to the on-field preparations, Ball State entertained recruits and welcomed officials for a training day clinic.
