MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State men's golf team will square off with UT Arlington in a dual match Saturday at Waterchase Golf Club in Fort Worth, Texas.
The Cardinals and Mavericks will meet for an 18-hole, match play competition.
Saturday's event will pit a pair of teams ranked in the top 100 nationally. Ball State sits at No. 46, while UT Arlington checks in at No. 93 in the latest Golfweek rankings.
The Cardinals have match play experience this year, having hosted the Mid-American Match Play in Florida in February.
Ball State posted a 2-1 record at that event to finish as the runner-up in an eight-team field. McCormick Clouser managed the team's best individual record that week, winning all three of his matches.
Following Saturday's action with UT Arlington, the Cardinals will remain in the Dallas area to compete Monday and Tuesday in the Jim West Intercollegiate at TPC Craig Ranch.
