ST. CHARLES, Mo. - Ball State men's volleyball outside attacker Jamion Hartley and middle blocker Matt Leske were once again honored by the MIVA in its weekly nods. Hartley was named Offensive Player of the Week while Leske was named Co-Defensive Player of the Week along with Loyola's Eric Daliege.

Hartley earned his MIVA Offensive Player of the Week nod for the second time this season. This past week, Hartley notched his fourth and fifth double-digit kill match of the season in wins over IPFW and then No. 8 Ohio State. The red-shirt senior was one digs shy of notching a double-double against IPFW. Since Hartley has returned to the starting lineup the Cardinals are riding a six-match winning streak.

Earning his fourth MIVA Defensive Player of the Week honor, Leske continued to lead the Cardinal defense notching 1.86 blocks per set in wins over IPFW and No. 8 Ohio State. Leske also knocked in three service aces against the Mastodons and had a 0.86 digs per set average.

In other news for the men's volleyball team, the team cracked the AVCA Top-15 in the Coaches' Poll this week. Ball State joins Lewis, Ohio State and Loyola on the list of the top teams in the nation.
