Schedule Note: Ball State was also scheduled to send a group to compete Monday and Tuesday in the Butler Spring Invitational, an individual event in Avon, Ind. That tournament will no longer take place this week because of inclement weather.
MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State women's golf team continues its spring season this week at the UALR Women's Golf Classic in Hot Springs Village, Ark.
The tournament, which will be played at Diamante Country Club, will get underway Monday with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Monday will feature 36 holes of action, while the final 18 holes will be played Tuesday.
In addition to Ball State and tournament host UALR, the 17-team field for this week's event also includes: Arkansas State, Central Arkansas, Eastern Michigan, Middle Tennessee, UMKC, Missouri State, North Texas, Northern Colorado, Northern Iowa, Oral Roberts, Sam Houston State, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, South Alabama, UTEP and Wichita State.
Ball State, which won three tournaments in the fall season, is coming off a 10th-place finish in its most recent action at the Rio Verde Collegiate Invitational in Arizona. Perry tied for 13th individually to lead the Cardinals at that event.
Hague leads Ball State for the season with a 77.06 stroke average, while Perry, Duke and Camus all average between 78 and 79 strokes per round.
