Gymnastics Team at MAC Championships Saturday
Ball State's gymnastics team will compete at the 2013 Mid-American Conference Gymnastics Championship Saturday at 2 p.m.. This year's MAC meet will be hosted by Western Michigan in Kalamazoo, Mich.
The Cardinals are 3-3 against conference teams this season. Last season, for the third consecutive year, Central Michigan earned the MAC Championship. Ball State defeated the Chippewas in a regular season meet this season. Kent State was the preseason pick to win this year's MAC, and tallied a perfect 6-0 regular season against conference foes.
Ball State finished in a tie for third in the MAC in the regular season. After Kent State's 6-0 mark, Central Michigan was 4-2, while the Cardinals, WMU and Bowling Green all tied at 3-3. Northern Illinois was sixth with a 2-4 mark an Eastern Michigan was seventh with an 0-6 record.
