Football's Lembo Talks About Clemson Game

Ball State head football coach Pete Lembo addressed the media at his weekly press conference in regards to Saturday's game at Clemson.

The Cardinals play the Tigers at Memorial Stadium Saturday at 12:30 p.m. (ET) in a game that can be watched on ESPN3 or the Atlantic Coast Conference Television Network.

"It will be a great challenge and a great opportunity at the same time," Lembo says.  "Obviously Clemson got off to a strong start as well.  Their offense is explosive to say the least.  They had 528 yards in offense against Auburn.  They run a pistol set a lot, which is basically a quarterback in a modified shotgun formation.  Their quarterback is a dual threat with a very strong arm and great feet and he can make a lot happen.  They have a really good offensive line.  On the defensive side of the ball, they have some outstanding athletes.  I am real impressed with their defensive front.  The corners are all 6-foot or better, so they have some long rangy guys at corner.  Their specialists were very effective and their special teams played very well."
