EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Ball State women's tennis team (5-6) heads to Big Ten foe Michigan State Saturday in dual action.
The two teams will play three doubles and six singles matches for the day. Michigan State is a familiar place for head women's tennis coach Christine Bader and her assistant Whitney Wilson as they both played tennis for the Spartans. Bader graduated from Michigan State in 2008 with a degree in business management while Wilson earned her degree in May of 2011. Both Bader and Wilson were teammates and doubles partners at Michigan State.
"Team is ready to go for Saturday's match," said Bader. "We had a great week in Orlando and the team has been working extremely hard. We have spent the last two weeks training outside and concentrating on making our doubles stronger."
The Ball State women's tennis team begins Mid-American Conference action Friday, March 23, at Buffalo with the match starting at 1 p.m.
