Men's Tennis Loses to UNLV in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS - The No. 74 Ball State men's tennis team fell to UNLV Thursday evening by a score of 5-2. With the loss the Cardinals now fall to 11-4 overall for the season.
UNLV headed into singles action with a 1-0 edge after winning the doubles point. The No. 2 doubles tandem of Zane Smith and Derek Carpenter came close to defeating Alex Bull and and Willie Sublette on court two but lost by a score of 9-8.
In singles action Zane Smith and Patrick Elliott bot won their matches at the No. 3 and No. 6 spots, respectively.
The Ball State men's tennis team will play Northern Arizona Friday at 1 p.m.
