MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State University women's tennis team will spend its spring break in Orlando, Florida. The Cardinals are scheduled to play James Madison, Wednesday at 11 a.m.
The two teams will play three doubles and six singles matches for the day. The Cardinals have started off the season with a 5-5 record, after their recent victory over in-state rival Butler Wednesday, Feb. 29 by a score of 6-1.
"The team and I have been looking forward to going to Orlando since the fall," said head women's tennis coach Christine Bader. "It will be great for our seniors to experience a spring break trip. James Madison will be a competitive match. Our team will benefit with a week of training outdoors as we go into conference season."
The Ball State women's tennis team continues its nine-match roadswing at Michigan State, Saturday, March 17. The match is set to begin at 3 p.m.
