Men's Tennis Defeats Army and Air Force Saturday
DAYTON, Ohio - The Ball State men's tennis team won its double-header at Dayton Saturday after posting wins over Army and Air Force. With the wins the Cardinals improve their overall record to 8-2 on the season.
Despite losing the doubles point to Army, the Cardinals rebounded winning four of the six singles matches. Freshman Ray Leonard, sophomore Austin Smith and freshman Patrick Elliott all were victorious over the Black Knights in straight sets.
In the night cap, Ball State won five of six singles matches over Air Force, leading 5-1 the Cardinals will finish the match tomorrow when they play doubles against the Falcons. Ball State win finish its play in Dayton after playing Lipscomb at 10 a.m.
