Women's Tennis Loses 7-0 at Indiana

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Ball State University women's tennis team lost 7-0 to Big Ten foe Indiana Saturday evening at the IU Tennis Center.  The Cardinals are now 4-2 on the season.

The Hoosiers took the early 1-0 edge over the Cardinals after sweeping the doubles competition.  The team of Ashlyn Rang and Sarah Hebble had the closest score on court two losing to IU twosome Evgeniya Vertesheva and Kayla Fujimoto by a score of 8-3.

Ball State would then lose all six of its singles matches in straight sets.

The Ball State University women's tennis team continues spring action at home Friday against Cleveland State at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center.  The match will begin at 6 p.m.
