Women's Tennis Loses to the University of Chicago
MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State women's tennis team (4-1) lost a close 4-3 match to the University of Chicago Friday night at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center.
The University of Chicago took an early 1-0 lead over the Cardinals after sweeping all three doubles matches.
In singles action Courtney Wild remained undefeated for the season on court one after her straight set 6-3, 6-1 defeat over Kendra Higgins. Both Sarah Hebble and Kyle Johnson were also winners over the Maroons.
The Ball State women's tennis team will continue spring action when it travels to Big Ten foe Indiana Saturday. The match is set to begin at 3:30 p.m.
