MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State University women's tennis team is set to host Detroit Mercy Friday, at 6 p.m. in the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center.
The two teams will play three doubles and six singles matches. The Cardinals have started off the season with a 3-0 record after beating Dayton (6-1) and Wright State (7-0) at home last weekend.
"Whitney and I are excited with the direction this team is headed," said Ball State head women's tennis coach Christine Bader. "We have started strong this spring and have been improving throughout every match. We saw Detroit Mercy at one tournament last fall. Practice this week we are continuing to work on doubles and our teams' aggressive style of play going into Friday."
The Ball State women's tennis team hosts Detroit Mercy (Feb. 3) and Chicago (Feb. 10). For further information you can log onto www.ballstatesports.com
