The men's basketball program will conduct one weekly press conference Mondays at a time to be determined in the Worthen Arena Media Room. Please request student-athletes by Sunday evening (student-athlete availabilty will be depend on class schedule). The Monday press conference will be the only scheduled in-person interview session each week. The flagship station for the BSU Radio Network and Ball State men's basketball is the 50,000-watt 104.1 WLBC FM in Muncie. Joel Godett enters his first season calling BSU men's basketball play-by-play, while former BSU letterwinner David Eha will begin his 11th season as color analyst.

Arrangements for broadcast phone lines or ISDN lines for visiting radio should be made at least three weeks in advance by contacting Tyson Mathews. The primary radio station will be provided both a phone line and an ISDN line. Additional radio broadcasts will have to make arrangements for all lines needed.

Ball State has one of the most comprehensive television packages in the nation with the Ball State Sports Network (BSSN). Vince Welch and Jerry Peirson call all of the action of Cardinals' home and away games. The broadcasts are also available on-demand at Also, the Ball State men's basketball coaches show is produced by BSSN.

Credentials for Ball State men's basketball home games are issued to working media only and should be requested as early as possible. Nonworking media will be seated in reserved seating areas when seats are available. Single game media credentials must be requested no later than 2 p.m. the day before the game (Friday for weekend games).

Applications for credentials should generally be made at least one week in advance and will be mailed when time permits. Otherwise, credentials will be left at the will call window of the Worthen Arena Ticket Office at Gate One. All requests for press credentials should be mailed, faxed or emailed on company letterhead to Tyson Mathews and sent to the Athletics Media Relations Office. Ball State reserves the right to refuse any credential request deemed not to be in the best interest of Ball State University.

Parking is available to all those with the proper press credentials. Your parking pass will admit you to the media lot near Worthen Arena.  All those who do not have parking passes will be able to find paid parking lots adjacent to the Arena. 

The photo zones are appropriately marked along the baselines of Worthen Arena.  No photo spots will be assigned throughout the season. Because of space limitations, it is recommended that photographers arrive early to secure a spot. Photo passes are available for working photographers only and will be issued at the discretion of the Athletics Media Relations Office.

The Ball State Athletics Media Relations office will host all accredited media. The Worthen Arena media room is located on the concourse between aisles 9 and 10 of the arena. All the necessary statistics will be provided as well as rosters and game notes. Food and beverages will be available prior to the game and at halftime. Phones are available for working press. We must limit media room usage to only those members of the media who present valid credentials. It is impossible to accommodate family members, friends, guests or others.
