Ball State's Ray Louthen Memorial Alumni Golf Outing is scheduled for Friday, June 6, at Delaware Country Club in Muncie, Ind.
"We are looking forward to the annual football alumni golf outing this June," head coach Pete Lembo said. "It is a great opportunity for the many generations of former Ball State players to reconnect with teammates and network with each other. I am especially pleased former Cardinals' head coaches Dwight Wallace, Paul Schudel and Bill Lynch plan to return and participate in this year’s event. This will be a great opportunity for them to spend time with the student-athletes they positively impacted years ago.”
At this year's outing, the 1989 football team will be honored as it celebrates its 25th year anniversary of winning the Mid-American Conference Championship and playing in the California Raisin Bowl. The 1989 team went 7-3-2 overall and won the MAC with a 6-1-1 record.
The price of the outing is $500 per team or $125 per individual and $75 for young alumni (2009-14 classes).
The Friday schedule is Noon registration and lunch, followed by a 1 p.m. shotgun start and a 6 p.m. dinner and awards.
For $600 you can receive a team and a hole sponsorship at the outing.
The prices include green fees, cart, unlimited range balls, beverages, lunch and dinner.
