Men's Swim and Dive Falls to Miami, 135-93
MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State men’s swimming and diving team honored five in its final dual meet of the season. Ball State dropped a 135-93 decision to the Miami RedHawks. Senior Drew Tharp and freshman Logan Kisinger picked up wins on the day for the Cardinals.
Kisinger gave the Cardinals their first win of the meet in the fourth event in the 50 free when he posted a season-best time of 21.94. Three events later, Tharp would turn in a season-best time of 1:52.40 in the 200 fly to claim first place.
In the diving competition, Brehmer earned the top mark in the 1-meter diving with a score of 329.10. Brehmer's score puts him in third place in all-time school history in the 1-meter. The Valparaiso, Ind., native is coming off last weekend's performance on the 3-meter that saw him move to second place in the Ball State record books. The senior earned a score of 294.23 in the 3-meter event against the RedHawks.
Posting season bests for Ball State were Conner Snare and Jacob Eckert. Snare finished with a time of 2:18.70 in the 200 breast while Eckert touched at 2:02.31 in the 200 fly.
