MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State University Athletics Department held its second annual Cardinal Carnival at Heekin Park Friday, May 18 for the local Boys and Girls Club of Muncie.
"The Cardinal Carnival is a community service project we have put together as an athletics department to help provide a positive experience for our local Boys and Girls Club," Ball State Associate Athletics Director Matt Wolfert says.
The Carnival consisted of 22 stations, which included volleyball, basketball, face painting, baseball, a dunk tank, inflatables, golf, football, track and field and many more games the children could enjoy. Ball State coaches and members of the athletics staff volunteered their time at the carnival.
At the conclusion of the Carnival each kid received a prize from the department, while Fishers Meat, a sponsor of Ball State athletics, provided hot dogs and chips for everyone.
