Ball State's women's golf team placed second at the Indiana University Invitational, and freshman Jenna Hague tied for first overall and finished second after a playoff.

In a 15-team tournament that was shortened to 18 holes due to weather, the Cardinals managed a 305, while Indiana won the event with a 298.

Hague, who won her first collegiate event at Eastern Kentucky last week, finished in a tie for first, but lost in a three hole playoff between four golfers.  Hague, IU's Kristtini Cain and Kate Coons, and IUPUI's Lauren Kuss participated in the playoff after shooting 73's in the 18-hole round.  Coons was eliminated after the first hole with Cain, Hague and Kuss posting pars on the par-4 17th hole. The three then moved to the 18th hole, where Hague and Cain posted a bogey and Kuss was eliminated.  On the third playoff hole, Cain managed a birdie to win her first individual title.

Autumn Duke tied for 11th with a 76 for the Cardinals.  Zoe Camus and Meghan Perry tied for 28th with a pair of 78's, while Sarah Westaway managed an 85 to tie for 75th.
