10 Calyn Hosea

2015-16 (Junior):  Saw action off the bench in 29 games last season . . . Registered a season best 10 point performance in a win at home against Northern Illinois (3/2/16) . . . Pulled down a season best six rebounds at Eastern Michigan (2/27/16) and at home versus the Eagles (3/9/16) . . . Averaged 11.6 minutes per game . . . Helped Ball State clinch its third bye to Cleveland in four years in the MAC Tournament and fourth-straight berth in the post season Women’s National Invitation Tournament where Ball State advanced to the second round for the first time since 2012-13, pulling off a 77-72 upset at Big Ten foe Iowa.

2014-15 (Sophomore):  Played in all 31 games for the Cardinals last season with 22 starts . . . Averaged 3.5 points per game and 3.9 rebounds . . . Made her first start in the opener against Purdue (11/14/14) . . . Led the team in assists with five . . . Managed a career-best 16-point performance against Duquesne (11/30/14) . . . Averaged 14.0 points per game in the 2014 Ball State Federal Credit Union Thanksgiving Classic . . . Pulled down a career best nine rebounds versus Charlotte (12/15/14) . . . Stole the ball three times against Butler (12/13/14), Bowling Green (1/3/15), Akron (1/21/15) and Western Michigan (2/28/15).

 2013-14 (Freshman):  Played in 35 games for the Cardinals . . . Scored first collegiate point at home versus Western Kentucky (12/6) . . . Managed a career-best five points at Akron (1/4) . . . Pulled down a career high eight rebounds at home against Akron (2/15) . . . Played a season- high 20 minutes at IPFW (12/29).

High School: Earned four letters at Lawrence Central under coach John Ribers . . . Averaged 10.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.0 steals as a senior . . . Led team in blocks and rebounds junior and senior years and almost had a triple double after her 12 point, 12 rebound and eight assists performance as a senior . . .career high 27 points in a single game. . .All-Conference honors as a junior . . . Member of the Indy Gymrats for two years under coach Bell Jones.
