2013 FRESHMAN:  Joined the team in January . . . Posted a 12-7 singles mark while going 2-1 in Mid-American Conference action . . . Saw playing time on courts two, three and four . . . went 7-4 at No. 4 singles . . . Paired with Alexandre Brym for doubles competition on all three courts . . . Earned a straight set victory 6-3, 6-4 over Charlie Alvarado of No. 68 UNLV (3/7) . . . First collegiate win was at home against Detroit Mercy’s Rafael Orantes 6-4, 7-6 (8-6) (1/25) . . . Helped the Cardinals capture the 2013 Mid-American Conference regular season championship, which is the 37th MAC regular season or tournament championship in the 41-year tenure of Bill Richards.

HIGH SCHOOL:   Arconada is from San Juan, Puerto Rico and was a 2012 graduate of Colegio Angel David High School.  He is ranked No. 46 nationally in the 2012 class according to which includes Puerto Rico as part of the United States tennis association along with being a five-star recruit out of six.  Arconada joined the Cardinals in January.

PERSONAL:   Son of Alejandre and Cecilia Arconada . . . one brother Jordi and one sister Usue. . . Father is The National Volleyball coach For Puerto Rico . . . Born in Argentina and moved to Puerto Rico when father accepted the job as national volleyball coach in 2006.
