2011-12 (Freshman): Started 24 games for the Cardinals as a true freshman . . . Managed a personal best 16-point performance in an 84-76 victory at home against Mid-American Conference West Division opponent Central Michigan . . . Went 3-for-6 from behind the arc at Western Michigan . . . Scored in double figures three times throughout the season . . . Pulled down a season best six rebounds on three occasions . . . Averaged 25.2 minutes per contest. Personal: Born on June 16, 1992...daughter of Michael and Tammy Justice...one brother, Derrick...majoring in nursing. High School: Four year letter-winner at Rushville for head coach Melissa Marlow... as a senior, averaged 17.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 2.2 steals...finished her career with over 1,200 points and 577 rebounds...one of only four players in school history to attain those figures...led Rushville to the sectional championship and a four year record of 70-24...received the honor of being named to the Indiana All-Star team...and was selected as a first team All-State team member...also was tabbed as a first team All-Conference performer and the team MVP...as a junior, helped the Lions to the 3A state finals where they fell to eventual champion Concordia...averaged 14.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists while shooting 54% from the field...was selected to play on the Junior All-Star South 6 Team as well...lettered four years in volleyball as well...member of the National Honor Society and a Varsity Scholar...played club basketball for the Indiana Explosion... |
