INDOOR: Competed in three meets … made her collegiate track & field debut at the Hillsdale Wide Track Classic, placing sixth in the high jump by clearing 1.64m … won the high jump in just her second collegiate meet, the Ball State Quadrangular (Feb. 21), by clearing a career-best height of 1.70m for a Mid-American Conference Indoor Championship automatic qualifying mark … placed 14th at the MAC Indoor Championships with jump of 1.58m.
OUTDOOR: Competed in four meets … posted an outdoor career-best high jump of 1.65m to place second at the Ball State Invitational (April 14).

2013 (Sr. - Women's Volleyball): Earned fourth letter at Ball State … First Team All-Mid-American Conference … MAC West Division Offensive Player of the Week (Sept. 23) … played in all 32 matches, earning 31 starts, to help Ball State claim a share of the MAC West Division title … saw action in 115 of a possible 116 sets … ranked first in the league with a .359 attack percentage … her 320 kills ranked second squad … smashed double-digit kills in 16 matches, including a career-high 19 in the regular season finale at Western Michigan (Nov. 16) … blasted 18 kills at Toledo (Nov. 7), while scoring 16 markers versus both SMU (Sept. 21) and Miami (Oct. 26) … tallied at least four kills in every match … hit a career-best .688 (12-1-16) at Eastern Michigan (Sept. 27), which ties as the 16th-best single-match mark in program history for a player with at least 15 attempts … her .667 (16-2-21) hitting percentage vs. SMU ties as the 19th-best single-match mark in program history for a player with at least 15 attempts … hit .400-or-better in 16 matches … led the team with a 0.91 blocks-per-set average … recorded a season-high eight blocks (two solo and six assists) versus Miami … recorded a career-best three solo blocks versus the College of Charleston (Sept. 21) … collected at least one block in 29 matches, with four-or-more in 12 outings … served up a pair of aces at Northern Illinois (Nov. 15), which ties a career-high … also tied a career-high with four digs versus Eastern Michigan (Nov. 2) … named Most Valuable Player of the College of Charleston Holiday Inn Classic … named to the Diet Coke Classic All-Tournament Team.

2012 (Jr. - Women's Volleyball): Earned third letter at Ball State … played in all 31 matches, earning 29 starts … saw action in 111 of a possible 116 sets … ranked third on the squad with 218 kills on the year … blasted double-digit kills in seven matches, including a season-high 14 at Central Michigan (Nov. 10) … scored at least one kill in every match, while posting seven-or-more kills 18 times … hit a season-best .556 (11-1-18) versus Wyoming (Sept. 15), while hitting .300-or-better in 11 matches … second on the squad with 75 total blocks on the season, including a season-high seven block assists at Bowling Green (Oct. 19) and at CMU … tallied three-or-more blocks in 12 matches… served up a career-high two aces versus Creighton (Sept. 7) … recorded a career-best four digs versus Ohio (Nov. 16) in the MAC Tournament.

2011 (So. - Women's Volleyball): Earned second letter at Ball State ... MAC Defensive Player of the Week (Sept. 19) ... played in 25 matches, earning 17 starts, to help Ball State earn an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament ... saw action in 68 of a possible 122 sets ... led the team with a 0.94 blocks-per-set average, including a career-high 10 total blocks (one solo and nine assists) in the win over Sacred Heart (Sept. 17) ... added eight blocks at Western Michigan (Nov. 4) and seven in the home victory over WMU (Oct. 1) ... recorded two-or-more blocks in 14 matches ... posted a season-high 12 kills in two matches; versus IPFW (Aug. 28) and against Buffalo (Oct. 29) ... her .625 (12-2-16) hitting percentage against Buffalo was a career-high ... scored nine kills versus Evansville (Sept. 2) and eight versus Virginia Commonwealth (Sept. 17) ... earned a season-high three digs on two occasions; at Valparaiso (Sept. 2) and versus WMU (Oct. 1) ... 2010 (Fr. - Women's Volleyball): Earned first letter at Ball State ... helped lead the Cardinals to a 24-5 (14-2 MAC) record and the program's eighth MAC regular season title and first since the 2002 season ... played in 22 matches, earning 13 starts ... saw action in 68 of a possible 109 sets ... turned in the best match of the season in BSU's championship-clinching sweep of Toledo (Nov. 11), blasting a season-high 12 kills, hitting for a season-best .588 attack percentage and racking up season-highs of five total blocks and four block assists ... posted her first career kill in BSU's season-opener versus The Citadel and proceeded to score at least one kill in 21 of the 22 matches she played ... blasted eight kills and hit .375 versus Robert Morris (Sept. 4) ... recorded seven kills in six matches ... hit .300-or-better in six matches ... tallied four blocks, one solo and three assists at SIUE (Aug. 28) ... threw up a career-best two solo blocks versus Akron (Nov. 13) ... collected at least one block in 18 matches, with three-or-more in seven matches ... tallied a career-best three digs at Toledo (Oct. 7).

PREP CAREER: Earned three letters in volleyball at Grand Haven for coach Aaron Smaka ... two-time all-conference selection ... Marx smashed a single-season school-record 643 kills her senior year to help guide the Buccaneers to a 45-16 overall record ... First Team All-State as a senior ... Second Team All-State as a junior after posting a Grand Haven school-record 207 blocks ... two-time all-area and all-region honoree ... finished prep career with 1,378 kills, 516 blocks and 432 digs ... help guide the Buccaneers to three district championships and a pair of regional finals ... also earned four letters in track and field and two letters in basketball at Grand Haven ...
