Rachael Pruett is a graduate assistant coach for the Ball State women's golf team after completing her four-year playing career with the Cardinals in 2010-11.

Pruett graduated magna cum laude in May of 2011 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science.

CAREER NOTES:  Managed a 78.21 average from 2008-10, which stands as the fourth best two-year average in Ball State history . . . owned a 79.17 average through three seasons, which ranks as the third best three-year average in Ball State's record books . . . completed career with a 78.78 average, which is the second best career mark in Ball State history.

2010-11 (Sr.):  Competed in all 11 events . . . earned fourth letter . . . won her first career tournament at the Ball State Cardinal Classic with a 72-70=142 . . . named the Mid-American Conference Golfer of the Week for her tournament winning performance . . . tied for third at the Claud Jacobs Intercollegiate . . . named MAC Co-Golfer of the Week for her showing at the Claud Jacobs . . . four top-20 and three top-10 finishes . . . also tied for eighth at the Iowa Hawkeye Intercollegiate . . . has Ball State's best 18-hole score this season with a career low 70 at the Cardinal Classic . . . career best 54-hole total of 222 at the UNLV Invitational.

2009-10 (Jr.):  Competed in all 11 events . . . earned third letter . . . placed a season best fifth at the Mid-American Conference Championships . . . five top-20 finishes, including a tie for 15th at the John Kirk/Panther Intercollegiate and the IU Invitational . . . career best 71 at the Indiana Invitational, which ties for the eighth lowest 18-hole score in Ball State history . . . tallied a season best 54-hole total of 223 at the IU Invitational . . . tied for 19th at the Ball State Cardinal Classic . . . tied for 16th at the Saluki Invitational . . . averaged 77.55, which is the fifth best single-season average in Ball State history.

2008-09 (So.):  Earned second letter . . . competed in 34 rounds and averaged 78.88 -- the second best mark on the team . . . managed a season best tie for seventh at the El Diablo Spring Invitational . . . posted eight top-20 finishes . . . tied for 21st at the Mid-American Conference Championships . . . season low 73 at the Kiawah Island Classic and the El Diablo . . . averaged 78.88, which is the 10th best single season average in school history.

2007-08 (Fr.):  Competed in 20 rounds for the Cardinals . . . earned first letter . . . managed a season low 74 at Ball State's own Cardinal Classic . . . finished a season best third at the Cardinal Classic and was named the MAC Golfer of the Week for her performance . . . posted two other top-20 finishes -- tied for eighth at the Tri-State Thunder Invitational and tied for 19th at the Butler Spring Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Earned four letters in golf for Coach Aaron Lynn . . . three-time Indiana High School Athletic Association State Qualifier . . . all-state as a senior . . . Linton-Stockton's low medalist in every dual, triangular or quadrangular meet in which she competed . . . won three invitationals as a senior and posted a 76.6 average . . . also competed in tennis and basketball.

SUMMER GOLF:  Qualified as an amateur for the 2010 Duramed Teva Championship . . . tied for 14th at the 2010 Indiana Women's Golf Association Open . . . 2008 & 2009 Terre Haute Women's City Champion . . . tied for fifth at the 2009 IWGA State Amateur and finished fifth in 2010 after placing 29th at the 2008 event and 16th in 2007 . . . 17th at the 2009 Pepsi Indiana Women's Open . . . placed eighth at the 2008 PGA Indiana Women's Open . . . 2008 IWGA Match Play Semifinalist . . . advanced to the USGA Junior Girls National Championship in 2006 . . . fourth in the Indiana Women's Open plus finished third at the Westfield Indiana PGA Junior Championship in 2006 . . . 11th at the 2007 Westfield Junior PGA Championship . . . tied for fifth at the Girls State Junior Championship in 2007.
